Organizational Structure
Organizational Structure
The LVRC operates within the Lehigh Valley Assocation of Independent Colleges (LVAIC), an independent 501(c)(3) administrative structure, and is organized as follows:
• LVRC Advisory Board
The Advisory Board is comprised of individuals from organizations serving the needs of the Lehigh Valley community. These include members of the non-profit and business community, higher educational institutions, local and state government representatives and a representative from LVAIC.
• LVRC Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is comprised of at least one member from each of the LVAIC institutions. The Executive Director of LVAIC serves as a voting, ex officio member. This core working group develops and implements the research plans for the LVRC, writes grants for funding opportunities, assists with the development of the web-based information system, and engages in community outreach activities.
• LVRC Director
The Director of the LVRC acts as the primary point of contact for the LVRC. The primary responsibilities for this individual include: coordination of data collection and oversight of the data system; management of student data collection activities; coordination of cooperative activities between the LVAIC institutions; management of LVRC research projects; and budget oversight.
